Expand to France !
You should definitely expand your public to European countries, translate your research, and build partnerships with meaningful companies you might have identified.

The video in the "take a break" page of the decision tool is not available in Canada
...and probably other countries. Maybe you should replace it with a video that is available everywhere?

"Work with us" page is outdated
The only oppurtunity listed links to a page which talks about a 2015 or 2016 start date. The page itself says it was last updated 2014.

Target audience
So you're use of examples such as UK specifics are great for a UK citizen like myself, but your target audience can be a little off sometimes. It often seems as though you're focusing on people who already have large amounts of career capital and can move easily, or those who have significant earnings already, not those at the start of their careers. You often tout most people as earning $40,000 a year, this is pure nonsense for most graduates in the UK. A lot of us (i don't know the figures) end up in menial entry-level jobs, if we…

Career planning tool date field is backward for americans.
In here:
"When are you next going to review your plan?"
The date field is DD/MM/YYYY, which Americans will find backwards. The international standard that avoids this is putting year first YYYY/MM/DD1 vote -
Anthropology phd
Please consider doing an evaluation of pursuing a phd in anthropology and whether its recommended or not. What impacts and prospects it has in which areas.

Add 4Ocean, The Ocean Cleanup, and Ecosia to your list of high impact companies
Tackling the world's plastic problem should be treated as one of top priorities for the environment, our health and the whole planet. 4Ocean and The Ocean Cleanup are great companies which are both providing solutions in this area. And the environmental damage from deforestation is being addressed by Ecosia, and I believe these are all great companies to work for.

What to do when you don't have "options" in Mind?
The career guide / quiz seem to assume a lot more clarity of options and purpose going into this than I expected. Almost like I need to be most of the way to deciding before I bother with 80000.
I don't know what options I have, because it's a fine line between none and so many vague / weak hopes or ideas. Without clarity of my options I can't even begin to gain value from your guide/quiz.

Career Review: Corporate Philanthropy
Career Review: Corporate Philanthropy - I would love to see a write up in the career reviews section of the role of those of us in corporate philanthropy, social impact, sustainability, CSR - lots of terms of how to use corporate resources for good. Obviously it would vary across industry and company - Greenwashing Oil companies v Patagonia - but it seems like a good addition. Thanks!

Please start publishing articles to Apple News
I would love to be able to read 80000 Hours via the Apple News app. It'd be nice to have all my consumption in one place.

Text Display
(On chrome, 100% zoom, HD monitor) In the standard font, there is no gap between the dot and rest of the letter 'i', making it look like 'l'. This makes it much harder to quickly read through text. Zooming in for example fixes this, but why should the user have to do that?

Page display issue
On the completion page of your newsletter signup, your download link buttons display with 0 margin (Chrome v50), so they are right on top of each other. My guess, based on the styling of the bottom button, is that they originally displayed side by side (the mobi download links has an element style with a left-margin attached to it, which is causing it to display out of alignment with the button above it).
Suggested Fix:
CSS
.btn-primary {margin-bottom: 1em;}and remove the left-margin inline style for the mobi download button.

Meaning/helping people
A very interesting read: "I could do anything, if I only knew what it was" by Barbara Sher.
In relation to step 1, meaning and helping others, this book gives a perspective that helped me letting go of beliefs about 'passion' and the idea of being selfish when pursuing things for myself and not 'for helping others'."You have to forget whatever you were taught about 'meaningful work' and start noticing whatever has meaning to you. [...] The very first step to finding work that fits you is to understand the connection between doing what you love and doing something…

Contact National Careers Service (A
Contact national careers services (In the UK the National Career Service is the one to go for) to have 80k hours mentioned on their website, and in publications etc.
Seems like an easy win as you would be fitting into a already used service, with a known, receptive audience.1 vote -
Prayer is a highly effective way to change our world. Research here is neglected. I so wish this was an area of consideration!
Fund highly effective prayer studies with input from people highly skilled in prayer along with scientists who are open-minded to creatively work with interfaith communities to design these studies. The impact of prayer on world problems is a needed area of study that needs funding--the most effective types of prayer especially. Your consideration is appreciated.
